About
We fully believe that technology should be designed to assist humans, enhance their strengths, and compensate for their weaknesses, rather than exploit them.
As the team behind one sec, our core competencies lie in psychology and computer science which allow us to do exciting and innovative research on the edge of both fields that is fueled by applied experiments in real-world digital applications (e.g., smartphone apps & assisting browser extensions).
MindBytes as Hub
MindBytes is a hub for enthusiastic people from tech & psych, like us, and the insights their work provides. That is, we look for individuals that can further complement our understanding of human behavior and cognition with their programming and analytical skills, psychological and related knowledge in digital contexts, or/and experimental work that sheds light on complex issues in the digital world.
In this regard we seek to:
- Feature others’ experiments of all formats (e.g., field, CRT, case study, interview) that test new ideas and hypotheses, as well as identifying new opportunities for innovation in this fast-paced and ever-changing field
- Collaboratively analyze large datasets of subjective and digital behavior & build predictive models for digital well-being and other human-central values
- Develop innovative interventions to reach a better coexsitence of human & machine (see e.g., one sec).
Come on board!
We are dedicted to collaborative efforts that allow us to develop cutting-edge research and applications that have real-world impact. If you have interesting insights that need a platform and/or enthusiasm to join this journey, get in touch!
